Suvajit Dey a major of Gorkha Rifles of Loktak Brigade under the Red Shield Division accompanied by twenty children and four teachers was flagged off from Ningthoukhong, Bishnupur to visit the Seven Wonders of the World, The Taj Mahal and the national heritage site of the Agra fort Tuesday. The children were come across with the history of Diwan-e-Aam, Diwan-e-khaas, Sheesh Mahal and Khaas Mahal. The children from culturally rich state of Manipur were absolutely enthralled by the spectacular beauty of Taj Mahal. Apart from various sightseeing tours of Agra, the children were shown the life of India Army and to make their tour more adventurous they were invited for a ride on an armed Tank available in the Indian Army Agra Camp. The children were delighted and expressed their intensity to join the Indian Army. A Para-sailing adventure sports which was specially conducted for them by the local Army unit leaves them mesmerized. Really this tour would have been given a unique experience to the children and made a permanent mark in their memories for a life time.
